Hi Rudy

looking forward to your visit to Shoreham airport monday week. We must have a plan of activities that you might like to consider, time will be a factor! It will take about 25
minutes to get to and from Brighton by taxi, if we all share the cost it won't be too expensive. There are lots of things to do in Brighton indeed it would need a good weekend to
cover the major attractions!

These are the three things we could see:

The Brighton Pavilion, a magnificent 'pleasure palace' built for the Price Regent who became King George 4th - it is a folly on a grand scale - he employed Antonin Careme as
his chef! This will take us a hour or so: http://www.brighton-hove-rpml.org.uk/RoyalPavilion/Pages/home.aspx

We could see the famous Brighton Pier, this is a fun place as well: http://www.brightonpier.co.uk/

The 'Lanes' are a fascinating collection of narrow lanes with lots of interesting shops:

We could have lunch at Pinocchio's which is well regarded by locals and near the Pavilion. :

Others might have different ideas and we can factor these in if need be.

If time is really tight we could have lunch at the airport which will be very good, look at the visitor centre there and then take a taxi into Shoreham itself and have a look around the town and take a walk by the river Adur.

Lots of things we can do just depends on how much time we have!

Regards,

Gavin
